Merry Christmas from all of us at Velo
Wenatchee Valley Velo Club President,
Adria Smart Gundersen
The weather is really getting brisk now and the holidays will be upon us soon. Contact Mike Mandoli for some great Wenatchee Valley Velo club kit gear. We have lots of warm and cool weather cycling clothes that would make great gifts. Mike can be reached at 679-0551 or e-mail him at missingridge@yahoo.com to place your order.
There have been a number of changes recently to the WVV board. Steve Johnston will again be the race director for the Omnium, which will be held on June 9th and 10th. A committee is being formed to help Steve put this great race on. My two year term as your president has come to an end and so I have stepped down from my position on the board. Adria Gundersen will be the new president of WVV. She brings past board experience and a great zeal for cycling to the club. Mike Mandoli has stepped down as vice president to join Steve on the Omnium committee. Mike will continue to manage the club clothes and will again be instrumental in organizing next year's Dark Side. Margot Peterson, who served as a board member this year, will be vice president. Scott and Lisa Tidd will remain as secretary and treasurer respectively. Bret and Cindy Marshall and Jenni Hakensen will remain as board members. Dusty Smart will join the board to replace Margo's position. Rick Ulrich is also a new member to the board and will replace Michael Hansen, who was on the board for several years. Come join us at our monthly club meetings on the first
Thursday of every month. Our friendly club members are happy to help new members find safe road rides, mountain bike rides and get you on your way becoming another Wenatchee Valley cycling enthusiast! Visit us on Facebook or Contact:
