About US

On November 9 at 9:00 am in the Wenatchee Valley six hundred cyclist assembled to show support for Dr. Ed Farrar. This gathering was to not only provide support but make the community aware that bikes belong and we can all share the road safely. This peaceful critical mass enjoyed a police escort for our entire five mile route that covered not only the original Criterium course Ed created but also passed over the very route he was traveling the day the accident occurred. Rider attended from all over the state, country and world with at least one person traveling from Spain to take part in this emotional and extraordinary event.  There were friends and colleagues which spoke words from the heart and touched many in attendance. Below is a pictorial of the event, and a slide show is also available by following this link http://www.justgetout.net/Wenatchee/15433

Ed has recovered to the point of beginning the next chapter in his long road back by returning to his newly remodeled home in Wenatchee. You can keep up with Ed's by visiting http://blogs.wenatcheeworld.com/author/efarrar/

Donations will still be accepted to Wenatchee Valley Velo, P.O.Box 1991, Wenatchee, WA 98807. Funds will be used to support the Wenatchee Omnium road race a race Ed helped create and poured his heart into.
